Flax Omega

Flax Omega

Description :

T- Rich Flax Omega is Purified & Enriched flaxseed oil. it is a rich source of natural omega 3, 6, 9 & vitamin E
Flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) and flaxseed oil are rich sources of the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid a heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acid. The essential fatty acid ALA is converted to EPA & DHA by the human body. Flaxseed is high in soluble fibre and in lignans, flaxseed oil and linseed oil are the oils that come from flaxseed.

Flaxseed oil is jam-packed with health benefits, they include:
Aids for heart health: ALA-rich foods may substantially reduce the recurrence of heart disease. The best way to prevent and treat heart disease is to eat a diet low in saturated and trans-fat and rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (MUFA & PUFA). ALA may reduce heart disease risk in a variety of ways, including making platelets less sticky, reducing inflammation, promoting blood vessel health, and reducing the risk of arrhythmia.
> Anti-oxidant functions: The antioxidant activity of the flaxseed has been shown to reduce total cholesterol as well as platelet aggregation (The clumping together of platelets in the blood leading to the formation of a clot). Lignans have antioxidant activity and thus may contribute to the anticancer activity of flaxseed.
> Strengthens the Immune System: Flax seeds contain plenty of omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids which strengthens the immune system’s resistance to foreign, harmful substances for the body.
> Helps in weight loss: Flaxseed oil also helps in weight loss equally as flaxseed. This is primarily because of its ability to boost your digestive health. Flaxseed oil lubricates the colon and works as a natural laxative and soothes constipation too. The smoother outflow of toxins and waste facilitates weight loss.
> High blood pressure: Eating a diet high in alpha-linolenic acid seems to reduce the risk of hypertension by about a third.
> Helps lowering cholesterol levels: Several studies show that taking flaxseed daily can reduce total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or "bad") cholesterol levels.
Exceptional for brain functioning: It improves brain development and spatial memory; dietary flaxseed may also improve aspects of brain functioning during conditions of neural diseases.
